Feedback on this great app

I use this app daily & love it. Plays game music great. N64 sound support would be nice. Also it is a bit of a battery sucker but its not terrible. When you play zips and rars it doesnt show you a playlist of songs inside. Otherwise great app !!!!update!!!! The app now doesnt start... Just shows the start up screen for about 20 seconds and goes back to my home screen. Going back into app does the same. Only solution so far is delete n reinstall but each time i have to reload my library :( im using ipod touch 3g with ios 4.3.2. Plz fix!

Best midi player ever!

The soundfont could be better (or maybe add the ability to use multiple soundfonts), lags a bit if the file is really complex, but otherwise the best midi player app I have used! Easy to upload files, and the visualizer is AWESOME!

One of my most used apps + update crashing app

Fantastic app - I got it when it was free. I totally would have paid big bucks cause its sooooooo awesomely good. Some of the playback engines arent totally spot on, but thats not really modizers fault. Besides - what do you expect from an app that tries to emulate all of those formats! Being able to FTP files in is so useful... I wish other apps used it. I have every Genesis, every NES soundtrack on here + a slew of great demoscene stuff. So Good... So Good. UPDATE: after update app wont load - when it does - it crashes after awhile and deletes my library. please fix!

Fantastic

Awesome app with a ridiculous amount of features. Played every file I hoped it would flawlessly - even in the background. The online repositories are also amazing. If you have any interest in the demo or tracking scene then this app is a must-have.

Works great, just needs polish

First off, it would really help to support opening files from apps like dropbox (identify support for files like RSN). Second, some of the GUI is a bit wonky, and the cover flow UI has absolutely no menu navigation to leave it, without rotating. None of this keeps this player from working, and it sounds great. Considering the complete lack of alternatives, you cant go wrong, and the price is right.

Yay!

Gone are the days of converting spc, psf, nsf (and so on) using winamp and a handful of other utilities just to listen to some of the greatest songs Ive ever heard. Specifically super mario rpgs ost but that may just be me:-) Installing now. I feel like a schoolboy whos been waiting for a toy and it just arrived, and Im just now opening it!!!

A Good iOS Citizen

Does exactly as advertised, and even has built-in acquisition of music. Already have your own files? Import them through File Share through iTunes. Control playback with the same controls iOSs iTunes, using the single, double, or triple click of the microphone, or the double click of the home button from lock. When Modizer stops running, it relinquishes these controls back to iTunes. Navigate your music and playlists with the familiar controls and views you already know. In short, this is an app that knows its an iOS app and behaves just as it ought. Spending $1.99 has never made me so happy.

Terrific app - all sceners should have this!

This app is awesome! It plays almost every tracker or game music format Ive thrown at it. AND, it uses known-good engines like dumb and resid for just about the best accuracy you can find outside of the real trackers! Even plays obscure amiga formats using UADE - its like having an A500 in your pocket. Also handle game music formats perfectly. Definite must-have!

Excellent

Great app, all I ever wanted! The game music emulator is perfect, supports so many formats... Keep it up!

Love the supported formats but...

This crashes all the time on my iPhone 4S. Maybe a fix is needed?

Nice, but DSF playback fails

Despite the recent update which includes optimized DSF playback, I get a Warning message that says "File cannot be played. Skipping to next available file." I tried multiple DSF files across 3 sites...same problem.

Excelent software but has bugs

I really like this app, and i would want to like it more but it crashes too many times. The crashes all happen when trying to download content off HVSC or MODLAND. My 3GS with iOS 4.x surely isnt at fault. Please fix these errors!!

Takes me back

There is room for improvement in the app, maybe try copying the old Fasttracker UI, I love it because I can listen to all the good stuff back in commodore and Amiga days. Thanks

Soundfont support :D

Yay! Thank you so much!

Was a must have but needs a fix

With the most recent update the app crashes on start up!! A fix is needed! 1.6 is hasnt fixed the crashing. I loved this app!! Please fix. Was 4 stars for me when it worked.

Incredible!!!

This app not only plays any classic electronic music format you can imagine, but gives you instant access to download them to the device! This is definitely a quality app. Five stars all the way! If the author made a mod tracker program I would buy it in a second! Well done!

amazing time machine - brings back memories

probably no one will download nor understand this application who was born after 1990. for me if this would be the only app for ios it would worth to have a ipad around! :) amazing collection of the 80s-90s sid/mod/etc tunes with a decent player and interface.

Crashes quite often

The app does not work consistently; it crashes after 2-3 manual song changes. It seems to work fine if I let the songs play on their own.

It could use a couple bugfixes, but aside from that its very good. So great to have all of your favorite tunes playable on the go!! Well worth the money. This was the very first app I bought for my iPod touch last year and Ive used it more than any other!!

Decent, not great

While this app has excellent format support, the browsing and organizing of data is quite cumbersome, and limited to the way the app wants you to organize it. Visualizations are kind of cool but limited. File info viewer is cool, but switching between file info viewing and extended controls is a little weird. My biggest complaints are lack of options for getting files in and out of it other than the internal browser (just app-hosted FTP), and especially, no support for "open in" this app from other apps (it should register the file formats it supports for easy import from other apps).
